Our Pastoral Team

Duncan Whitty

I was born in Edinburgh and brought up in Haddington, where I currently live. I studied engineering at Heriot-Watt and then at Loughborough universities. I became a Christian through a spiritual encounter I had with Jesus at the age of 23 when volunteering on a Mercy Ship (hospital ship). Long story short, via time doing a Youth With A Mission (YWAM) training school and volunteering in the local Church of Scotland, eventually I felt God guide me to become a pastor and after more study at Edinburgh university, I became pastor at Corstorphine United Free Church in June 2014.

I find the Bible fascinating and believe it to be completely true and I have experienced God's Spirit do amazing things over my years as a Christian. Thus, I am passionate about helping people live out the truth of the Bible in the power of the Spirit.

Tom Kam

I was born in Hong Kong with several years experience of pastoring there.

'Home is where the heart is' as they say, and Scotland is now my home! I hope to connect with the Hong Kong diaspora here and share the Christian faith, and walk together with them in the peace that Jesus gives.

Eddie Au

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Pastor Eddie grew in his faith and started serving the Lord in that busy metropolis. He relocated to Edinburgh in July 2021, and established CCC Hong Kong Circle in January with Pastor Duncan, Pastor Tom and some brothers and sisters from the core group. He mainly serves the youth ministry in the church.

Ministry principles: Pastor Eddie aims to build church and train disciples by theological discussion and application with the help of online media and pop culture. With the help of the Holy Spirit, he aims to preach everywhere and anywhere, and to continue serving HongKongers around the world. May the gospel of Jesus Christ bring the healing, release and redemption that we need in our lives.

May Your kingdom come.
